From Ice and Potato – or Energy Generation (grades 4-6)
Where does energy come from and how can it be generated? During a workshop organised by the Warsaw Gasworks Museum, participants will learn the secrets of energy conversion and the principles of electrochemical cells.
During the workshop, children will learn how batteries are made, which metals are used in their construction and what is necessary for electricity to flow. They will also see if an ice cube or a potato can provide electricity! This is a unique opportunity to better understand the workings of electricity and its applications through experiments.
The workshops led by museum educators combine theory and practice, involving participants in the fascinating world of science and technology.
