Organize an event at the Warsaw Gasworks

The Warsaw Gasworks Museum strives to meet the needs of people with disabilities by offering a range of amenities that ensure a comfortable visiting experience.

The museum grounds include a parking area with 36 spaces, allowing for convenient vehicle parking and easy access to the facility. The nearest bus stop, Szpital Wolski 06, is located approximately 150 meters from the entrance gate. The road leading to the museum has been renovated to provide a safe and comfortable approach.

Entry to the museum is possible through a gate or a smaller entrance, both of which remain open during the institution’s operating hours. Detailed information on opening times is available on the museum’s website.

A concrete ramp without stairs leads to the main entrance. The entrance door threshold is 4 cm high, which should be taken into account when planning a visit. The museum building is equipped with an elevator 90 cm wide and two restrooms adapted to the needs of people with disabilities.

However, some parts of the exhibition feature narrow passages, with widths in certain areas below 60 cm. Additionally, some exhibits protrude into the space, which may pose challenges for wheelchair users.

Guide dogs and assistance dogs are welcome in the exhibition area.

The Warsaw Gasworks Museum is committed to continuously improving accessibility, ensuring that as many visitors as possible can enjoy the history and heritage of Warsaw’s gas industry.
