The answers below will help you to better plan your visit to the Warsaw Gasworks Museum.
- From Tuesday to Thursday – tickets can only be purchased at the Museum's ticket office. Visiting hours are from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with the last entry at 5:00 PM.
- On Fridays – admission to the Museum is free. Visiting hours are from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with the last entry at 5:00 PM.
- On Saturdays and Sundays – tickets can be purchased at the Museum's ticket office. Visiting hours are from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with the last entry at 5:00 PM. The ticket for a specific time slot includes a guided tour, which takes place at 12:00 PM and 1:30 PM. Tickets for these tours can be purchased both at the Museum's ticket office and online.

- Standard ticket: 20 PLN
- Reduced ticket: 10 PLN
- Ticket for holders of the Large Family Card: 10 PLN per person (entry only upon showing the Large Family Card to the ticket collector)
- Children up to 6 years old - free admission
People meeting the following criteria are entitled to purchase a concessionary ticket: children over the age of 7, schoolchildren, students, pensioners and people with a Large Family Card.
Payments at the cashier can be made either in cash or by payment card. For guided group tours organized from Tuesday to Thursday, payment is only possible through the reservation system available on our website.
Admission to the Museum is free every Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Last admission is possible at 5:00 p.m.
Refunds of tickets purchased at the box office on the day of the tour are accepted only in justified cases. Rules for refunds of pre-paid tickets for groups are detailed in the tour regulations.

Monday – Museum closed.
Tuesday – Thursday – Admission exclusively for organized groups with a confirmed reservation and for individual visitors without a guide from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, upon purchasing a ticket at the ticket office.
Fridays (according to the schedule) – Individual visits without a guide available from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
Saturday, Sunday – Individual visits without a guide available from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Guided tours are available at designated times specified in the schedule (12:00 PM, 1:30 PM) at no additional cost (included in the ticket price).
We kindly ask you to check the schedule of opening days carefully before planning your visit, as the museum may be closed to visitors on certain dates.
The estimated tour time of the Museum is approximately 1 hour.
The Warsaw Gasworks Museum is accessible by public transportation:
- By bus: lines 103, 105, 178 – Szpital Wolski stop
- By metro: line M2 – Płocka station
- By tram: lines 10, 11 – Szpital Wolski stop
The Museum offers parking spaces for passenger cars as well as one parking space for a coach. Additionally, there are paid public parking areas outside the Museum premises.
The Warsaw Gasworks Museum provides a self-service cloakroom.
Visitors may leave their private luggage in a locker in the cloakroom, which must be locked. The Museum is not responsible for any luggage left behind.
The Warsaw Gasworks Museum has parking spaces for cyclists. Located on the right side of the Museum's courtyard is a bicycle rack.
Children under the age of 13 may visit the exhibition of the Warsaw Gasworks Museum only under the supervision of an adult. Young people aged between 13 and 18 can visit the exhibition on their own, provided they are supervised by a teacher or guardian.
The Warsaw Gasworks Museum has been adapted to the needs of parents with small children - prams can be brought into the Museum and special toilets have been made available for parents with small children. Exhibitions on other floors can be visited by lift.
The exhibition of the Warsaw Gasworks Museum has been designed to be accessible and approachable for visitors of all ages.
Photographs may be taken in the exhibition area, but the use of flash is strictly prohibited. Recording video material is permitted only with the prior consent of the Museum Director.
The permanent exhibition has been fully translated into English. It is also possible to book a guided tour in English via the booking system.
Registration for museum workshops run by the Education Department of the Warsaw Gasworks Museum takes place via the booking system, available on the museum's website under the ‘Education’ tab.
First aid kits are located at the cash desk and in the education room.
Dogs are allowed on a leash on the Museum grounds. In exceptional situations, the staff may ask for a muzzle. The guardian of the animal is fully responsible for its behaviour and any damage resulting from its presence.
