Everything is clear (kindergarten 5-6 years and grades 1-3)

What is light and how was darkness dealt with before the invention of electricity? At a workshop organised by the Museum of the Warsaw Gasworks, participants learn about the history of Ignacy Łukasiewicz - the pioneer of the oil industry and inventor of the paraffin lamp.

During the classes, children will learn about the distillation of crude oil, thanks to which we obtain fuel for lamps. As part of the experiments, participants will build their own model of a lamp, discovering the secrets of the old light sources.

The workshops led by museum educators are a unique opportunity to learn through experience and experimentation.
