How was coal gas produced and what was it used for? At a workshop organised by the Museum of the Warsaw Gasworks, participants will take an extraordinary journey back in time, discovering the secrets of ancient technologies.
During the classes, children will learn about the history of the Warsaw Gasworks and find out what the process of producing gas from coal looked like. In the practical part, they will try to creatively recreate this process, using pipes, tubes and tubing to build their own models of gas installations.
Led by experienced educators, the workshop is a fascinating encounter with science and history that combines theoretical knowledge with practical experience.
