Although the screening is planned to take place in the museum courtyard, rest assured: in case of inclement weather, the screening will be moved inside the building so that all participants can enjoy the film in comfortable conditions.

The film will be presented in its original version, in English, with Polish subtitles.

Forrest Gump is a story about a simple yet extraordinary man. The title role was played by Oscar-winning actor Tom Hanks, who created one of the most iconic characters in cinema history. Forrest, an unassuming boy from Alabama with a low IQ, turns out to be a witness to and participant in the most important events in American history in the second half of the 20th century. From his sports career, through the drama of the Vietnam War, to his business successes, the protagonist remains true to his values and his greatest desire: to find the love of his life, Jenny Curran.

The film combines humour, emotion and reflection on the fact that, as the famous quote says, ‘life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're gonna get’.

Due to the evening hours, we encourage you to bring a warm blanket or extra clothing. Free parking is also available for motorists on the museum grounds.

The screening of ‘Forrest Gump’ at the Warsaw Gasworks Museum is not only an opportunity to experience one of the greatest works of world cinema, but also a chance to spend an evening in a unique, historic setting.
