‘Saved from oblivion’ – Marek Kotarba at the Warsaw Gasworks Museum

The artist, known for his extraordinary sensitivity and ability to dialogue with the past, will present a series of works that pay tribute to memory and the most valuable aspects of culture. M. Kotarba, a painter and sculptor, strives to capture the fleetingness of the moment in his work and remind us that art is one of the most beautiful ways to save history from oblivion.
The atmosphere of the vernissage will be particularly intense thanks to the musical accompaniment of Marek Grechuta's songs. It is in the meeting of painting, sculpture and music that the essence of the event lies – an invitation to pause, listen and look deeper, not only into works of art, but also into oneself.
The exhibition ‘Save from Oblivion’ is an offer for all those who seek not only aesthetic pleasure in culture, but also reflection on what constitutes our identity. It is an evening that has the chance to become a space for encounter – with history, art and one's own memories.
See you at the Warsaw Gasworks Museum.
