Museum Night 2025 at the Warsaw Gasworks Museum

On this evening, the historic interiors of the former gasworks will be transformed into a stage for living history, science and culture, taking participants back to the time when gaslight first lit up Warsaw's streets.

Event programme:

  • Guided tour | 18:00-23:00
At the centre of the evening's programme will be a tour of the permanent and temporary exhibitions under the guidance of experienced guides. Participants will have the opportunity to learn about the fascinating history of Warsaw's gasworks, explore the mysteries of the city's gas lighting and discover how technology changed the daily lives of the capital's inhabitants - from street lamps to gas cookers that revolutionised the way meals were prepared.

In this unique setting, you will be able to take souvenir photos, impersonating characters from the past and immersing yourself in the atmosphere of the old capital.
  • Science show ‘Fire!’ | 20:30

  • Little Explorer Zone | 18:00-21:00
With the youngest participants in mind, the Little Explorer Zone has been prepared - an educational space full of interactive workshops and games, which in a friendly manner introduce children to the world of science, technology and experimentation. This is an excellent opportunity for joint family fun and learning.
