Macramé workshops at the Warsaw Gasworks Museum – tradition with a modern twist

12 October 2025, 10:30 a.m. – The Warsaw Gasworks Museum invites you to a family workshop entitled: ‘From Honorata Łukasiewiczowa's lace-making school to the contemporary art of string weaving’.
During the 90-minute session, participants will discover the secrets of basic macramé knots and weaves, and then create their own autumn leaves – small works of art that they can take home with them. The autumn atmosphere is conducive to creativity, and the workshops are a unique opportunity to combine knowledge of traditional handicraft techniques with modern design and practical application.
