International Geologist Day: explorers who are changing the future of energy

It is they who, by studying the interior of the Earth, provide knowledge not only about natural resources such as oil and natural gas, but also about the geological processes that shape our planet. Their work, often requiring perseverance, courage and years of research in difficult field conditions, has a direct impact on energy security and sustainable development. Unfortunately, the achievements of geologists are still often underappreciated.
