Family Children's Day at the Warsaw Gasworks Museum - science, fun and history in one place

Last weekend, the Warsaw Gasworks Museum became a vibrant centre of family entertainment and education. On the occasion of Children's Day, a unique event was organised which attracted crowds of the capital's residents - primarily the youngest, but also their carers and loved ones.

The programme of celebrations was carefully prepared with different age groups in mind. Participants were treated to creative arts workshops, spectacular scientific demonstrations, the popular ‘Kolejkowo’ model railway, an ASG shooting range, an ice cream stand and the opportunity to visit the historic interiors of the former gasworks - a building of unique significance for Warsaw's industrial heritage.

Particularly popular was the interactive experiment zone ‘Naukobus’ - a mobile educational laboratory, which introduced children to the secrets of physics and chemistry in an accessible way. Thanks to a formula based on self-discovery, the zone not only entertained, but also inspired scientific curiosity.

We would like to thank all the participants for their great participation and for celebrating together. The presence of so many families is the best proof that the Warsaw Gasworks Museum is a place open to everyone - regardless of age - ready to share knowledge, history and passion for technology.
