A family holiday in the heart of Warsaw: Gasworks Museum invites you to a unique Children's Day celebration

The historic industrial complex in Warsaw's Wola district will be filled with laughter, joy and scientific passion, offering the youngest residents of the capital and their families unforgettable moments combining fun and education.

The programme for the two-day festival promises to be extremely attractive. The celebrations will begin on Saturday, 31 May, at 10:00 a.m. A number of entertainment zones will await visitors, including the iconic pinball machines, an impressive model railway, an ASG shooting range and an ice cream stand - everything needed to start a day full of positive emotions. A special highlight of the Saturday afternoon will be the ‘Gazostwory’ art workshop (12:00-14:00), during which children will create their own masks inspired by the industrial atmosphere of the former gasworks. 

Sunday, 1 June, will bring the highlight of the programme - the Naukobus ‘Science on the Road’ mobile educational laboratory, available from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Interactive scientific demonstrations in physics, chemistry and technology will enable children and their carers to experiment together and discover the fascinating world of science in an accessible, impactful form.

The programme will also include educational walks around the museum grounds. Every day, at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m., there will be interactive guided tours with an educator who will introduce participants to the history of the Warsaw gas industry and explore lesser-known nooks and crannies of the museum's collections.

Admission to all events and attractions is free.
