PGNiG Foundation nominated for the BohaterON award – Muzeum Gazowni Warszawskiej

PGNiG Foundation for them. Ignacy Łukasiewicz was among 35 nominees for the BohaterON 2021 award.

In the “non-profit organization” category, it was awarded for the board exhibition “Spojrzenie na Warszawę”, for the program “We warm Polish hearts” and for supporting aid campaigns.

The exhibition “A Look at Warsaw” presents archival frames showing the devastated post-war Warsaw, alternating with present photos of the same places. This effect was achieved by means of 3D lenticular printing. The exhibition is open to visitors from August 1 to October 2, 2021 on the fence of the PGNiG SA Head Office in Warsaw (at 25 M. Kasprzaka Street).

The program We warm up Polish Hearts aims to support initiatives aimed at integrating the local community around culture, tradition and historical memory. You can read more about the program at pogrzewamypolskieserca.pl .

Support for aid actions for veterans for veterans includes, among others preparation and delivery of parcels for the holidays, purchase of the most necessary security measures and household items, subsidies for gas fuel under the Rachunek Wdzięczności (Bill of Gratitude program).

The winner of the competition can be selected by voting on the website https://bohateron.pl/bohaterony- 2021 / zaglosuj / October 15, 2021.

BohaterONy Award was established in 2019 and aims to distinguish people and institutions whose activities promoted the knowledge of the history of Poland in the 20th century in a special way.
