On 23 August, the Warsaw Gasworks Museum invites all cinema lovers to another evening with a film under a cloud. In historic surroundings, in the heart of Warsaw, we will have the opportunity to see David Lynch’s cult film Wild at Heart (1990) on the big screen.
The screening of the film, which is rated 15+, will begin at 20:00.
“Wild at Heart” is the work of one of the most mysterious and innovative directors of our time, David Lynch. The film, which won the Palme d’Or at the Cannes Film Festival, tells a passionate story full of passion, violence and surreal visions – elements that have become a hallmark of Lynch’s work. The lead roles are played by Nicolas Cage and Laura Dern, who play lovers trying to escape danger and find their place in the world.
The director himself describes his work this way: “Wild at Heart is a road movie and my characters are ordinary people you meet on the road.
The event will begin at 8pm, but we encourage you to arrive early to take comfortable seats on the prepared deckchairs or mats laid out on the grass. It’s well worth making yourself comfortable to fully enjoy the film evening under the stars.
Admission to the event is free, making it an even more attractive option for spending a summer evening in Warsaw. For motorists, municipal car parks are available near the Warsaw Gasworks Museum.
Due to the chilly evenings, we kindly ask you to bring blankets with you to make yourself more comfortable during the event.
See you there!
